We architects (in a wider topic, designers) adore aesthetic things. Our pens, photos, food; in sum our life style has to suit our design perception.
At school we are also taught about these kinds of stuff. There is a saying states "Architects wear black". I don't remember whom it comes from but this rule has to be broken.
With monochrome we evolved to a mono-type architecture.
However our creativity is nourished by everything, including small details of daily life. These details shall be the first point to start to express ourselves.
In other words what do I and architects/designers around me do beyond the boring! office life is the main theme of this blog.

Biz mimarlar (ve daha genel başlıkla tasarımcılar) estetik şeylere pek düşkünüzdür. Kalemlerimiz, giyimimiz, el yazımız, çektiğimiz fotoğraflar, yediğimiz yemekler, kısacası yaşam tarzımız tasarı algımıza uygun olmalıdır.
Okulda bu tür şeyleri de öğretiyorlar. Mimarlar siyah giyinir diye bir söz var. Bu lafı kim ortaya atmış hatırlamıyorum ama bu kuralın yıkılma zamanı geldi.
Tek tip giyimle tek tip bir mimarlığa evrildik.
Fakat yaratıcılığımız her şeyden besleniyor. Günlük hayattaki ufak tefek şeyler dahil. Kendimizi ifade etmeye bunlardan başlamalıyız.
Sıkıcı ofis yaşamının dışına çıkınca benim ve çevremdeki mimar/tasarımcıların neler yaptığı olacak bu blogun ana teması.
